All in one day:friend over, paint, glue, bowling, rain, frostys

We had a neighbor friend spend a few hours with us this morning. The girls loved it. Carly gets to excited when new people come over and she wants to do everything super fast. Mom can we go outside? Mom can we play downstairs? play-doh? paint? bubbles? color? dress up? track for the cars? We did it all.
While the girls were painting, I was working on Emma's monthly pictures when she was a baby. She climbed up on the counter and helped me with the glue. It was fun and she loved it.

She was singing let it go and running around being Elsa.

"Mom how me get down?"

After Jeremy got home from work, we headed to the bowling alley for $1 bowling!
We invited the elders to come. Jeremy totally got beat but somehow the elders agreed to combine Carly and Emma's score and whoever lost had to make the other one dinner. So I guess because Carly and Emma scored higher than one of the elders, they get to make us dinner. haha

Carly got new markers from her preschool teacher. She is pretty excited when she gets to use them.

Rain boots after a big rain.

"Mom watch me! I catch bubble".

Jeremy went to bed extra early tonight because he was pretty tired. So the girls and I played outside in the puddles with chalk for a while. Then we decided to go and get frostys from Wendys. haha It didn't start pouring rain until I had to order. haha rain was coming down so hard and I couldn't help but laugh. So we hurried home and ran inside to enjoy our fifty cent chocolate frostys before brushing teeth and the girls going to bed.

(Notice our new table? haha Jeremy totally broke our table and we have been eating on our fold out table for a few weeks. Jeremy mentioned it to a friend who just so happened to be getting rid of table that was too big for them. Pretty perfect. The girls kept commenting on how the big the table was when we were eating our ice cream.

Wendy's, Lemonade money, popsicles, & fruit loop necklaces

We get the Wendy's 4 for $4 once a week. During the summer we have even splurged and gotten the fifty cent frostys.
Emma eats the chicken nuggets, Carly eats the french fries, I eat the Jr. bacon cheeseburger and drink the pop, Dr. Pepper. Yum.

During our garage sale the girls did a lemonade/cookie stand. They earned $20! So they each got ten of that. $1 went to tithing so they each had $9 to spend at the toy store. It was kind of stressful trying to let them buy what they wanted but also steer them away from things we knew they wouldn't play with. hahaha

Emma checking out and buying her little Paw Patrol.

Carly really wanted that broom and dust pan. She actually LOVES using it. Any time I have asked her to help me sweep the kitchen she gets it out and does it! She even yelled at me for walking near her pile of dirt. hahahahah

They were pretty happy with their purchases.

On my to do list for Summer 2017 one thing was to make popsicles. We used blueberries, strawberries and vanilla yogurt. They loved making them, but not so much eating them. Bummer. They each took one bite and asked for one of my chocolate popsicles that they knew were in the freezer.

Another thing on my to do list for Summer 2017 was to make fruit loop necklaces. Emma loved the eating of the fruit loops while Carly actually filled her whole string up and took her time eating it this night and the next day.

Happy 6 year Anniversary Jeremy!

I know I wrote a post about this on facebook/instagram.
Some things never change. Even after six years of being married to Jeremy he is still wearing Ninja Turtles on a regular basis and he still wears crocs just about every day.

Yes, he most definitely went with a baby cone and I had a hot fudge brownie sundae. I LOVE hot fudge and the brownie with ice cream. I feel like my cravings are just what I like when I'm not pregnant, but more when I'm pregnant.

We asked someone to get a picture so you could see his crocs hahaha

I for sure spilled hot fudge on my dress. Ugh. I would blame it on the girls, but this was all me.

For our actual anniversary we were in Ohio for my sister's reception, so we decided to wait until getting home to go to dinner and dessert to celebrate. We went to Apple Bees and enjoyed the 2 for $20 deal. We shared the artichoke and spinach dip, and we each got a pasta dish.

We are one month away from due date with baby boy (4 weeks from today)!!! AHhhhhhhhh!
I cannot believe it. I still have things on my list I need to get done. Most importantly packing our hospital bags! I always put that off til the last minute.

I have been having braxton hicks a couple of times a day now. Nothing that I can time or anything, but it does get me excited/nervous for actual labor.

Sleeping has become a lot harder. With getting up to go to the bathroom and the fact that he stretches like crazy and it kills. For an hour last night my belly was so hard! It wasn't a contraction because I could breath through it just fine, but I was up that hour, as soon as I took a drink of water it seemed like that helped and I went back to sleep. Ugh.

Emma loves to kiss my belly. Carly does it all the time, especially if she knows someone is watching her. She snuggles my belly and kisses it about 5 times.

I was singing her bedtime song to her and she snuggled up next to baby boy. She is so cute.

I am going to miss this big belly view in a few weeks.

75% of the time, my belly looks like this. The right side is higher than the left because he is all on my right side. The girls were like this too. I feel occasional kicks on the left side, but I feel like they favor my right side more.

One night last week we headed to the play ground to play for a bit. Carly ended up not being able to come for at least 20 minutes because she threw her helmet and when she calmed down from being in time out with Jeremy at home, she ended up kicking a toy on their way out the door! Ah!!! So he sent her back to time out. Meanwhile Emma asked about 10 times "where Carly mommy" while we were at the park together. But she did manage to master the fireman pole!!

I can't get over how excited she gets with doing things like this! She is so strong and I love watching her excitement after she does it. She says 'ta-dah!'
A very rare occasion for all three bedrooms and the bathrooms cleaned at the same time! I spent a few hours every morning this past week working on this. And you know what?!! It was such a huge stress relief for me after getting it all done. Especially mine and Jeremy's room. It always gets things dumped in and I don't usually take care of it right away.

I also moved the rock n play into our room. Emma and Carly were so confused. Emma pointed to the baby's room and said 'that baby's room mom' I said I know, but he sleeps in here for a few months first.
