Carly is seriously the best big sister. Jeremy and I were talking. We think she actually knew what we were talking about when we said that she was getting a little sister and that I had a baby in my belly.
From the moment she got to go and get Emma from the nursery at the hospital, Carly has been obsessed with Emma. We thought that it would stop once we brought her home. Every morning when Carly would wake up she would say two words to us, 'show' and 'milk'. She only wanted to drink her milk and watch her shows.
Now that we have Emma, every morning Carly pops awake and says, 'baby?' She says it like she is asking a question. It is adorable.
She wants to hold her. She wants to change her diaper. She wants to get her dressed. Carly wants to put bows and hats on her head. She loves giving her a bottle. If Emma is crying, Carly is concerned and hushes her.
