Royal Fairytale Breakfast

Our local high school did a Royal Fairytale Breakfast.
We paid five dollars a person to play games, eat breakfast, dance with prince and princesses, listen to different characters sing, write to Santa, walk the plank, decorate wands.

Olaf!!! We saw him a lot and the girls loved it.

Anna and Elsa sang just as we were sitting to eat our pancakes and bananas.

Our pretty princesses.

Carly was so nervous to go up to Princess Sofia to dance with her. But she did it! And she was so excited she did. Princess Sofia twirled her. It was adorable.

Dancing with Dad.

Carly was standing on the stage with all the other kids while Elsa sang Let it Go, then Emma joined her! Carly was looking down to make sure Emma was okay. It was adorable.

Walking the plank!

Writing to Santa!
We even put our address on the envelope and they said Santa would write back.

Putting her letter in the mailbox for Santa.

Our pretty princesses. They got to each choose a bracelet, ring, and necklace!

We found Jasmine and Aladin! We know the girl dresses as Jasmine from church but the girls would not give her a hug.

Emma got a Nemo tattoo. Carly didn't want one.

Decorating their wands.

J is for Jellyfish

Snack time!
I started with the cheese and graham crackers shaped like a jellyfish.

They loved tracing and writing J's.

They love running from J to J that we draw on the driveway. It gets their wiggles out and helps them recognize the letter J.

We saved the Jello for last,
knowing it would be messy and spoil our lunch.

Wearing mommy's reading glasses. When the missionaries were at our house the other day, the elder had a little Bible he was reading from. Carly was obsessed. Jeremy remembered that he has one. We found it and Carly has been toting it around since. haha.

Pre church naps.
We were definitely spoiled last Sunday morning.
Jeremy didn't have morning meetings and church didn't start until 11:00a.m.! We had so much time to chill before church and sneak in a nap.

Carly throwing a fit at the park.

November with no coats??!!!!

Emma loves to push the button on the Leap Frog Alphabet and it sings Wheels on the Bus. She sings along with it and rolls her arms.

She was so proud of herself for putting stickers all over her baby. She crawled on the couch to show us.

Iowa City Children's Museum!

Our Costco did a Costco Mom Hour.
They opened Costco an hour early for us.
We did a scavenger hunt to all of the different services they offer
And we enjoyed some free grapes, bananas, juice boxes, and pound cake.
It was crazy. But it was a fun and good excuse to go to Costco.
We met some friends there and then headed onto the children's museum after.

Mini scrubs are on my list to sew for the girls. They LOVED them. And they are constantly playing 'doctor'.

I love how Carly is in motion in this picture. She really didn't stop the whole time we were here! She was in love.

Tatum helped Carly button her white coat. It was adorable.

They brushed teeth too!

Declan spent the majority of his time in this play ambulance. Emma 'drove' some too!

Out of all the toys Emma could play with, she found a baby doll in every room to tote around. This station had clothes you could change the baby, dishes to spoon feed the baby, and blankets. Emma was in love.

The train room! There is a continuous train going in the glass and train tracks for the kids to play with on the table.

Our little pilot.

Climbing in the hot air balloon!

Driving the plane!

The girls walked all the way up those stairs 5 times to go down that huge tunnel slide.

Another cute little pilot.
Carly's legs are long enough to pedal and the front propeller spins.

I would say they are wore out! They seriously fell asleep 10 minutes before we got home. Ugh. Carly went back to sleep in her own bed. Emma, well she stayed up.

These silly girls kept acting like they were babies and crying to me. They wanted wrapped in their blanket and put on my bed to sleep.

I think I wore her out! Poor girl.
Her and Carly were playing catch in the car with their velcro mitts. haha it didn't last long.

While Emma took a quick 5 minute nap Carly
 enjoyed some orange juice!

I promise I don't always match the girls. They do have other clothes. Carly just loves to match
and while I can I will match them!

Our neighbor was pulling out of his driveway
when we walked by him. He told us to walk back behind his house to see a buck and doe against his fence!

They didn't even move! They just stared at us. It was crazy. I have never seen deer that close and them just stare.

Happy Halloween: Part 2

Neighbors that we haven't met yet (kitty corner to us) dropped off this cute little bag of chips and good chocolate. I promise we saved Jeremy three pieces. :)

We are ready for trick or treating!!!
This is how they started trick or treating. By the end they were both walking/pushing the stroller.

Knocking on our neighbor's door and waiting patiently for him to come to the door.

Emma was in her own little world walking behind.

Blurry picture, but you get the idea. She really enjoyed walking through the leaves.

One of the houses on our street gave out bags of popcorn! Genius. This saved Emma. She sat in her stroller for the rest of the time eating it. She had already put a lot of miles on her little feet.
