Father's Day

All Jeremy asked for on Father's Day was homemade real waffles. Not the mix that we usually use. He also bought himself a new antenna for our t.v.

It's tradition to make him the footprint tie. This year we had two different feet to put on it! :)

Daddy and Emma

Daddy and Carly

Daddy and both girls. I love finding dresses for the girls to match!

Carly was only happy when she had her bag of cereal.

I am so grateful that we get to have Jeremy in our lives and that he is the dad to our sweet girls!

Inflatable 5k

On Friday, Jeremy calls me from work and tells me he has great news for me. He said that he has our date planned for Saturday morning and it's something that I really wanted to do. He told me that Go Daddy gave out tickets for the Inflatable 5k.

I had heard about it on the radio. I really wanted to do it. It was pretty expensive and by the time Jeremy told me to go ahead and get tickets, they were all gone! :(

So when Jeremy told me that he got tickets I was SO excited.
Google  'Inflatable 5k' if you don't know what I'm talking about. It's a 5k, but throughout you have huge inflatables to climb and slide down. The most fun I have had running. I don't know if I can ever do a boring 5k. :) this was a blast. My face hurt because I was smiling the whole time!

ready for church!

bathed, ate, hair, dressed, shoes, church bags ready, and even time to snap a few photos of these beautiful girls!
Carly sat long enough so I could braid her hair again!!!!

This is the third time this week that I pulled out our nice camera. Jeremy asked how often I actually use it. I know at least once a month to take monthly pictures of Emma. :) I am trying to remind myself to use it more often! I love how clear the pictures turn out :)

I love Carly's surprised look and Emma's smile :)

Emma isn't very amused. haha

Pretty in pink! I try and coordinate colors or match the girls for church. I think it is so cute. And I am going to do it as long as the will let me.

Note to self:

check all feet before climbing into bed!!!! If Jeremy wasn't asleep already I would have had him go and scrub those feet! hahahaha

This girl loves to hang her head like this.

We have a daily problem of putting big shoes on. This day she found rain boots.

I always brag to my mom how when we go to Costco it is always pouring down rain. Oh well! Because we have indoor parking!!!!

How I get things done these days. Baby Bjorn is a life saver!
I put my make up on and curled my hair while carrying her in this. She is as happy as can be.

I love how Carly follows Jeremy around outside wondering what he is going to do next.

These girls love this swing. Emma sits in it and Carly pushes!

Carly let me braid her hair! She thinks it's so pretty.  She will run to her mirror and say 'braid!'

Yupp, this girl loves to hang her head like this.

Emma was also a fan of the Bath & Body Works that we bought. :) At least someone appreciates this amazing smelling soap! (June is Bath & Body Works huge sale...I had to stock up!)

Picture day!... Emma is 5 months!

Our sweet Emma Jean is 5 months old.

Emma loves: Carly, smiling, sleeping at night, napping in her car seat when we are out and about, watching shows with Carly, slobbering all over Carly's toys, ROLLING OVER, scooting, being held, jumperoo, bumbo, her toes!
Rolling over to get her giraffe!

Emma isn't a fan of: long naps (her longest naps during the day in her crib are about 30 minutes), being set down, sun in her eyes,

New things she can do:
*ROLL OVER (Carly never rolled over. It is so fun to watch her do this and to scoot around in a circle to get whatever is in reach).
*sleeps 6-8 hours a night!!!!
*sleeps in her own room in her own crib!
Side note: My mom made this quilt for Emma. It is made from fabric that my grandma (Erma Jean) gave to me. :) It is my favorite picture of a Precious Moment girl and a goose.

Our beautiful girls. I just love their smiles, their blue eyes, their giggles!

She isn't quite sitting up. Almost there!

This girl is all smiles! We love it.

I LOVE this picture of our sweet Emma Jean.

She is getting some chunk on those lets. And that smile! She loves holding her feet up.

This picture makes my heart happy and brings tears to my eyes! I just love watching them be sisters and love each other. They adore one another.

This happens. haha. Emma isn't quite sitting up by herself. Carly caught her from falling.

We have loved getting to know our sweet Emma Jean. Every day she is getting bigger and stronger. We are so blessed :)

I love having girls

Jeremy found this dresser and so we painted it white! I wasn't too thrilled about the whole thing. I just didn't know where I want it exactly and it kind of smelled like animals (one of my least favorite smells. ugh) But I LOVE how it turned out.
I found these adorable knobs at Hobby Lobby. It makes the dresser look totally different.

How do I get my two year old to wear underwear? Put it on her baby sister!! haha. Carly freaked out and wanted some too. haha. Totally worked.
Did I mention I love having girls?!!! I just love everything girly. Today we painted all of our nails pink. Even little Emma's toes.

Baby feet are one of the cutest things. I almost never see Emma's feet because I always put socks on her. But today she is going bare foot!

I am loving how Carly's room is turning out. We decided to put the dresser in here.

photo booth

I introduced Carly to photo booth this week. haha. She loves making faces at herself in the mirror so I figured she would love this.
sticking out the tongue.

smile and squeeze mommy.

I always roll my tongue and she tries to stick her finger in it. haha.

I asked Jeremy to help me in taking a family picture for me to send to Aunt Franki who is serving a mission. This is what I got! haha.

I love my little family. :) with tongues sticking out and all!
