Conference weekend!

In our church we get to hear from our church leaders every six months. 

We call it General Conference. It makes for a long weekend. But it is very uplifting and gives us an excuse to spend lots of time together as a family.

We tried a few new tricks this conference. The containers full of treats. When they heard one of those words then they would get that treat. When they heard Jesus Christ they could choose which one they wanted. It totally worked! Well for the most part. Carly would be playing with her toys and she would hear prayer. She would stop what she was doing, yell 'prayer'! grab her treat and continue playing. Emma ruined the m&m's and suckers for us. She kept grabbing handfuls of m&m's and shoving them in her mouth. And the suckers were way too messy.

We also had visitors! Clayt is in Omaha which is only about a four hour drive so he made the trip with a roommate to spend the weekend with us. The girls loved it! As you can see, Carly would flop on his lap at any time and he would scratch her back. Emma loved pushing him on the yellow wiggle car. And Emma bothered him while he trying to nap.
