Happy 2nd Birthday Emma!

Emma is silly, sassy, independent, smart, fearless, and social (until people get too close).

She loves to play with play dough, balls, ride the yellow plasma car, sing songs (itsy bitsy spider, popcorn popping, wheels on the bus, baby bumblebee), climb, paint and color, carry around her baby dolls.

She loves to eat yogurt, smoothies, strawberries, rice, eggs, spaghetti, mac n cheese, milk, juice, lunch meat, cheese, chicken nuggets, cooked carrots.

The night before Emma's birthday Jeremy and I decorated with streamers and wrapped her presents.

Presents are ready for our birthday girl!

We woke up when Emma did to open up presents.

She got two Melissa and Doug Water and Wow.
Color with water, let it dry, and color it again!
One for Carly and one for Emma.

A big pad of paper.

And fingerpaints!

A purple stroller.

And a new baby doll!!
She is carrying it to Jeremy saying 'open, open'!

Oma and Pappa left presents for her last time they were here. She got a skeleton pajama set that glows in the dark and the cute floral shirt that matches one for Carly.

They LOVE these things. They are so fun and keep them entertained.
We brought them to church and it is all Carly played with.

And of course trying out her new finger paints!
They are both so silly about getting their fingers messy. They kept wiping off their fingers.

Daddy made Minnie Mouse waffles for breakfast!
(Don't mind the fort in the background, and of course our awesome fire).

After Emma opened up the wrapped presents, Jeremy remembered we had one more present for both the girls. Cash registers! They love playing store. It even has a little scanner that beeps.

Carly had such a hard time that Emma got all of these presents for her birthday. She wanted some too! I am glad we had some doubles of presents so they each have their own. We had to remind Carly that her birthday is coming up, her reply was 'after daddy's birthday!' Which is right! haha

The first thing they went to after we came home from church. Their cash registers.

We had cake and ice cream at 6:00p.m.
with our cute neighbor Leonard.
Emma taking her first bite without a fork, it's a Pitchforth tradition. She actually did a really good job!

Lighting the candle the first time.

And she blew it out right away when we were singing happy birthday.

Chocolately face! She couldn't believe we let her just dig into her own cake. She kept looking at us that it was okay.

She was all done and wanted cleaned up.

Jeremy tried to shove the cake in her face, she pushed it away.
