odds and ends of January

She loves this book she got from Nana for her birthday.
It is stories that Jeremy read when he was little.

The train! Every time we go to the Playstation, I don't get tokens, which the train takes tokens to ride it. They were beyond excited to actually ride it this time.

The Playstation is an indoor play place for kids. It's like a McDonald's play place on steroids. 

Daddy was kind enough to climb around with them and they all made it to the top for a picture!

For Preschool on Wednesday we did P is for PIZZA. They loved making their own little pizzas and I actually had some homemade pizza dough. 

Bowling!

Uncle Clayt was able to come and stay with us Martin Luther King Jr. weekend. He didn't have to work on Monday and he had some stuff we left in Colorado. So it was a nice visit. We went bowling! Carly was either sitting on his lap or taking her turn in bowling.

She had so much fun.

Carly can bowl all by herself. She can pick up the ball, put it down the ramp, wait for the ball, and carry it to the ramp again. It is so fun watching her. She looks so grown up!

This is how we do Sunday mornings so I can get ready for church.
I promise I did Emma's hair after snapping this photo. She just woke up from her morning nap she gets before our 11:00 church.

I knew she loved morning baths by herself! Silly girl woke up soaking wet from taking off her pajamas and diaper! Ugh.

Doing crafts in Carly's room. I bought this big craft jar from Costco a while back and I am finally getting around to doing crafts with the girls from it.

Our last snack, yogurt, with Uncle Clayton before he takes off! He stayed an extra day due to an ice storm.

We said good bye to Uncle Clayton and these two wanted to play outside!

We made sure to bring lots of pennies for them to throw into the fountain. They always enjoy this.

Going down the slide. Carly made a train with Emma, but by the time I got my phone out to get a picture, Emma was done.

We have six more cushions we could sit on the couch, but somehow we all get squished onto one!
