Quick trip to Des Moines

We made a list of things we wanted to do this summer.

Visiting Des Moines Zoo was on that list! 

We packed up and spent a night in Des Moines at a family friend's house.

My dad is a chiropractor. Anytime we see bones I have the girls get a picture.

They had a Curious George exhibit at the zoo! It was perfect.
We actually spent more time in here than we did looking at animals.

The exhibit had a play kitchen. The girls loved this.

The people we stayed with had a swing! Like a people swing.

It was so nice out!
They filled up a kitty pool for the girls and Emma loved 'swimming' in her clothes.

Carly was obsessed with Max. She used that stick and threw the ball over and over and over. 

This girl LOVES her daddy. It melts my heart to see.

It was a great trip! We got to visit with the Katzenbach's, see their beautiful house and yard, go to the zoo, and be home Saturday night! It was perfect.
